1. Who We Are
BonicBD ("we", "us", "our") provides server-side Google Tag Manager hosting and first-party tracking infrastructure to e-commerce merchants and agencies. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it.

2. What This Policy Covers
This policy covers two distinct relationships:
- Customer data — information about merchants and agencies who sign up for BonicBD accounts.
- End-visitor data — information that flows through customer-owned tracking subdomains we host on the customer's behalf. For end-visitor data, the customer is the data controller and BonicBD acts as a data processor.
3. Customer Data We Collect
When you register for a BonicBD account, we collect:
- Name, email, phone number, company name
- Domain(s) you wish to deploy on
- Payment information (transaction IDs, payment method, screenshots if applicable)
- Support communications (WhatsApp messages, emails, contact form submissions)
- Account usage logs (logins, dashboard activity, configuration changes)
4. End-Visitor Data Processing
BonicBD's server-side containers receive and forward tracking events on behalf of our customers. Typical event data includes:
- Browser-generated identifiers (cookies, click IDs)
- Page URLs, referrer, user agent, IP address
- E-commerce event payloads (product views, add-to-cart, purchase value)
- Hashed identifiers (email, phone) when provided by the customer's site for CAPI matching
This data is processed solely to forward conversions to ad platforms (Meta, Google, TikTok, etc.) configured by the customer. We do not use end-visitor data for our own marketing or sell it to third parties.
5. How We Use Customer Data
- To provide, operate, and maintain BonicBD services
- To process payments and send invoices
- To send transactional notifications (usage alerts, billing reminders, expiry warnings)
- To respond to support requests
- To improve the product based on aggregated, de-identified usage patterns
6. Sharing & Sub-Processors
We share data only with sub-processors necessary to operate the service:
- Cloud hosting — for container infrastructure and database storage
- Payment processors — bKash, Nagad, City Bank, card processors
- Email delivery — for transactional notifications
- Ad platforms — Meta, Google, TikTok, Snap, X, etc., as configured by the customer
We do not sell personal data, ever.
7. Data Retention
Customer account data is retained for the duration of your account plus 90 days after closure for billing and audit reasons. End-visitor event data forwarded through customer containers is retained according to the customer's configured retention window (default: 30 days for the conversion ledger). Tracking server access logs are retained for 14 days.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format
- Object to processing or restrict it

9. Security
We use industry-standard practices including TLS 1.2+ for all data in transit, hashed and salted password storage, isolated container environments per customer, daily automated backups, and audit logging for administrative actions. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat your data with care.
10. International Transfers
BonicBD is operated from Bangladesh. By using our service you consent to data being processed in the country where our servers are located. Our sub-processors (cloud hosting, ad platforms) may process data in additional jurisdictions.
11. Cookies on This Website
This marketing website (bonicbd.com) uses minimal cookies — primarily for the contact form, dashboard session, and basic analytics. We do not run third-party advertising tags on this site.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the product and regulations evolve. Material changes will be notified via email or in-dashboard notice at least 14 days before they take effect.
